Young STEM Innovations delivers thoughtfully curated, hands-on STEM experiences for children ages 5–10.
Founded by a certified, veteran elementary STEM educator with over 28 years of experience, YSI creates small-group learning environments where curiosity is ignited, confidence is cultivated, and young thinkers are challenged to design, build, and lead with purpose.
Rooted in our local community, we are committed to providing high-quality enrichment that empowers the next generation of innovators to explore new possibilities and shape the future with bold ideas.
Meet the Founder
With nearly three decades in elementary education Shan Young, the founder of Young STEM Innovations, has dedicated her career to developing creative thinkers and confident problem-solvers.
She believes STEM is more than science and engineering — it is resilience, collaboration, innovation, and the courage to try again.
Young STEM Innovations was created to extend that mission beyond the classroom, offering intentional, small-group STEM experiences that empower children to explore new possibilities and lead the future with confidence.
